Cox Bookkeeping & Tax Solutions was founded by Josh and Kierney Cox with one purpose: to give business owners dependable, personalized support designed around the realities of running a business.

A Greene County native, Josh grew up in Mosheim before beginning his military career after high school, serving in the U.S. Marine Corps and Army National Guard. His experience instilled the accountability, discipline, and commitment to service he brings to the business today.

Originally from the greater Charlotte, North Carolina area, Kierney moved to Greeneville to attend Tusculum College, now Tusculum University, where she earned her bachelor's degree in business.

Growing up around entrepreneurship, Josh and Kierney saw firsthand both the rewards of business ownership and the challenges owners face—especially finding knowledgeable, reliable support that works around the demands of their business. Those experiences helped inspire Cox Bookkeeping & Tax Solutions.

Together, they bring 10+ years of professional experience, business and tax-focused education, military experience, and continued professional development in taxation, AI implementation, and modern business solutions.
